Every day I am subjected to political rants from Ds on Facebook and in conversation. I never bring up politics first. If I tell someone I bought a Tesla. They rant about Elon Musk.

They repeat the information the media feeds them. They are unable to absorb anything that disagrees with their programming.

You can give them the Brainwash Test.

Possibly, if true, the best thing to do is to say:

The President is doing what we voted him to do. You are being a cry baby. Of course you hate it. You did not vote for him.

Now, you are being a sore loser. You had your chance. You blew it. You do not even know why. You have no introspection. I have been telling my D friends for years. Do you want to learn something. If you wanted to win the election, you should have done something different, like

1. Not lied about Trump
2. Not used the legal system to try to imprison him
3. Not used the legal system to try to bankrupt him
4. Not try to assassinate him
5. Had an election for your candidate
6. Not suppress free speech
7. Not manipulate the media
8. Not manipulate the tech companies
9. Not hate America
10. Not be the party of antisemitism
11. Not be racist
12. Not let in illegal immigrants
13. Secure voting
14. Shrink the government
15. Lower taxes
16. Stop the fraud, waste, and abuse
17. Balance the budget
18. and more

For me, anyone of the items would have been sufficient for me to vote for Trump over the Ds. The Ds would have to change all of them for me to consider voting for them.

A week ago I was talking by phone with my cousin. He is a gastroenterologist who trains other gastroenterologists around the world. After congratulating me an my Tesla, he began ranting about Elon Musk, saying that Musk was canceling important NIH research that a friend of his was doing. Last night, a friend of mine who was a former President of the International Diabetes Association did exactly the samething, saying that a friend of his had his NIH research canceled. I wonder if there is a propaganda compaign to agitate medical professionals.

Never before could I have imagined this happening, yet today, this lunacy seems about par for the course. Tell me, are you happy? Does this make you happy? Is this what you wanted?
